At Parade Dental Practice, we understand that there are some occasions when you just can’t wait around for an issue with your teeth to be dealt with. It could be a case of being in a large amount of pain due to a serious infection, or having damaged your teeth in an accident or fall.

We will do our very best to fit you in as promptly as possible, often being able to find appointments for our emergency patients on the same day that they call. Where this isn’t possible, we’ll aim to get you booked in as early as possible on the next day to minimise your anxiety and discomfort.

Why might I need to call an emergency dentist?

You are in severe dental pain
You gave uncontrolled bleeding from your mouth
A tooth has been badly damaged or knocked out
You have an abscess (often identifiable by swelling in your mouth or a knotted feeling in your jaw)

What if I can’t be seen?

We go out of our way to see you as quickly as possible. In the unlikely event that we are unable to do so, we may be able to recommend a local dentist who can see you. You can also ring 111 or visit your accident and emergency department.
