Our Cross-Infection Policy
At Parade Dental Practice, Bridgwater, we take the health and safety of our patients, staff and visitors very seriously. As such, we have stringent policies and procedures in place to reduce the risk of any infection and maintain an impeccable level of hygiene.
Decontamination and sterilisation
We take all necessary precautions to safeguard you and our staff. We have a dedicated decontamination and sterilisation room, considered best practice by the Department of Health, to process all contaminated dental waste and clinical instruments away from the surgery.
We follow recommended HTM-01-05 guidelines with regard to sterilisation of instruments and the use of disposable items, e.g. gloves and needles.
